I’m Kate Harrison, an Australian Counselling Association registered Counsellor, based in Niddrie, Melbourne. I have post graduate training in Acceptance & Commitment Therapy, Emotion Focused Therapy and Gottman Method Couples Therapy.
Whether you’re feeling anxious, depressed, lost your sense of self, feel disconnected from your partner or want to make a deliberate change in your behaviour, I’m here to support and help you. I wholeheartedly believe there is hope you can learn lifelong skills, build resilience and overcome life challenges.
I draw upon evidence-based and clinically proven therapies to help adults transition towards the life they desire. And the evidence has proven, it is possible to change the course of your life. To move forward and create a more resilient and emotionally capable version of yourself.

I provide a warm, safe and confidential space for honest self-exploration, where you are encouraged to speak freely. I accept you as you are, and listen with compassion and respect. I’m here to help you work through and make sense of your thoughts and feelings and provide you with lifelong, healthy coping skills.
At the core of my counselling philosophy is the belief connection is the key to healthy coping.
